Overview

The land of great kings, Rajasthan is one of the most colorful state of India. The state offers the number of the glorious forts, Palaces and Havelies along with that its royal heritage of culture and traditions are popular worldwide. Apart from this the state also contains one of the widest and forbidding desert which is Thar Desert, also known as The Great Indian Desert.

We are pleased to offer you a well-designed package ‘Royal Palaces and Desert of Rajasthan’, during the tour you will feel the spirit of the timeless era. Visit the forts and palaces of Rajasthan, to understand the culture and traditions. will give you the chance to explore the most vibrant colors of Thar Desert along with the Sam Sand Dunes, to feel the real essence of desert, this is the ideal location for to take the Desert Safari.

Along with that you will also get an opportunity to explore the some of the great Mughal monuments along with other historical monuments in Delhi and Agra including renowned Taj Mahal which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Taj Mahal is described as the most extortionate monument ever built for love. The duration of the tour is 14 nights and 15 days, covering the places such as Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Samode, Mandawa, Khimsar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur and Delhi.

Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi (Arrival)

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, meet our tour representative, after welcome, get transferred to the hotel. Check in at hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. You may roam around the nearby places or renowned market and test the mouthwatering foods. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi (sightseeing)

After breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Delhi includes the places such as Laxmi Narayan Temple, Parliament House, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb. Thses all are the most popular tourist attractions of the city.

After sightseeing tour, return to your hotel room and stay overnight.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra(By Road-200kms)

Today, leave by road for Agra. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. After freshen up, you depart for city tour in Agra, first visit The Taj Mahal, It is described as the most extortionate monument ever built for love. It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan which was dedicated to his beautiful wife Arjumand Bano Begum popularly known as Mumtaz Mahal. It is the final resting place of the queen, splendidly created for her remembrance. The beauty of Taj Mahal not only brings joys in viewer’s eyes but also is a feast to senses.

Later, visit Agra Fort the Agra fort was built by Akbar between 1565 -1573. This fort is built alongside the banks of River Yamuna and stretches for a length of almost 2.5 km. The fort is made using splendid pieces of red sandstone and white marble and the inner area inlaid with various semi-precious stones,

After visiting the Agra fort, proceed for Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb,Nur Jahan the wife of Jahangir built a tomb for her father Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din, who died in 1622. The tomb was called as Imad-Ud-Daula. The tomb is built entirely of white marble. As its unique architectural style and structure, the tomb also called “Baby Taj”.

Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur(By Road-240kms)

Post breakfast you set for a drive to Jaipur, and take a halt in Fatehpur Sikri. In Fatehpur Sikri you visit the Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Jama Masjid, Birbal Bhawan and Panch Mahal.

Then resume the dive to Jaipur. it seeks to combine the modern with the ancient and gleaming malls with resplendent palaces and forts. It is one of the most popular tourist destination of India. Behind its pink crenelated walls, you will find the original old city that’s dates back to the 18th century.

Upon arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Jaipur. Visit main attractions of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, The palace was designed for the royal women, so that they could see the festivals of the city without coming out of the palace. It was built of red and pink sandstone. You can get the best Rajasthani handcraft, clothing, souvenirs, jewelry etc nearby Hawa Mahal, do some sopping here.

City palace complex is located within the heart of Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732 AD.  You may also visit Jantar Mantar Observatory this monument was built by Sawai Jai Singh, which is listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visit Jal Mahal, located at Man Sagar Lake, this fort was built in the 18th century and feels equally haunting and enchanting. Other spots to be visited are Amer Fort, About 11 kilometer north of the Jaipur city center Amber Fort Palace is located. It is the main attraction of Jaipur. Amber was the capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs for 700 years. 

After sightseeing, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Jaipur - Samode(By Road-42kms)

After early breakfast, after breakfast, proceed to Samode. It is a small village in the suburbs of Jaipur. Samode is known for the Samode palace, Samode Haveli and Samode Bagh, these are the heritage monuments and structures constructed by 'Maha Rawal' of the Amber and Jaipur. The palaces here exhibit the beautifully carved interiors and the marvelous frescoed walls.

Upon arrival at Samode, check-in to you pre booked hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening you may explore the village life and get an amazing experience of Kamal Safari, seat on camel’s back and enjoy the local traditions and life. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 07: Samode - Mandawa(By Road-235kms)

After breakfast drive straight to Mandawa. Mandawa is the major part of Shekhawati region, it is a small town in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is located about 190 kilometre away from Jaipur. Mandawa is known for its havelies and forts.

Upon arrival in Mandawa, check-in at the hotels. After freshen up, proceed for the city tour of Mandawa. Firstly visit to the splendid Mandawa Haveli. The intricately painted walls of this place and the detailed work will enthrall you to the fullest. After that visit some other popular havelis include the Jhunjhunwala Haveli, Hanuman Prasad Goenka Haveli, Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli, Goenka Double Haveli, Murmuria Haveli, and the Mohan Lal Saraf Haveli, This will be followed by a 1 hour camel ride. After visiting the havelies, return back to the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Mandawa - Khimsar(By Road-250kms)

Post breakfast, proceed to Khimsar, which is around 210 kilometers away from Mandawa. On reaching Khimsar, check into the Khimsar Fort. After freshen up, proceed to explore the amazing sand dunes of Khimsar. By evening, return to the Khimsar Fort for overnight stay.

Day 09: Khimsar - Jaisalmer(By Road-295kms)

Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Jaisalmer. After breakfast, proceed to Jaisalmer by road. The Golden city’, Jaisalmer is situated 575 kilometers west from Jaipur. Jaisalmer comes under word heritage site. It is one of the most romantic places in India and also exotic destination for Indian as well as foreign tourists.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. The evening is booked to explore the surroundings of this fortified city. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 10: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

Today after breakfast, proceed for the city tour of Jaisalmer. The places covered in Jaisalmer include Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli, Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Megh Durbar. This will be followed by Lodurva- a village in the outskirts of Jaisalmer famous for its Jain temples. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride at Sam sand dunes. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 11: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur(By Road-300kms)

In the morning, leave by road for Jodhpur. It is a 6 hour drive from Jaisalmer. Jodhpur known as the blue city in Rajasthan. It is situated on the boundary of the Thar Desert.

On reaching Jodhpur, check in to the hotel.  The evening is free to explore the surroundings and the local bazaars. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 12: Jodhpur Sightseeing

In the morning, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. The places you will visit here include Mehrangarh Fort one of the largest forts in India and Jaswant Thada, the 19th century white marble royal cenotaph. The evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Jodhpur - Udaipur(By Road-315kms)

Lave for Udaipur, after breakfast. On the way, visit Ranakpur, popular for its Jain temples, which were constructed during the 15th century. Continue to Udaipur now. In the morning after breakfast, after breakfast, proceed to Udaipur- which is also known as “City of Lakes”. The city has clean lakes dotted with isles, which are decorated with ancient forts and palaces.

On arriving in Udaipur, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 14: Udaipur Sightseeing

This morning, after you munch your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing tour to Udaipur.

Udaipur, known as the City of Lakes is a city rich in cultural heritage. The city showcases the imperial Rajput era and takes one back to the glorious past. This beautiful city is also referred to as “Venice of the East”. The place has a number of historical monuments, palaces and forts which are there in the remembrance to Maharana Udai Singh II who founded the city.

Begin with a visit to the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. After visiting all these attractions, enjoy your day on the banks of the Lake Pichola which is known as the crown of the city. Later, return back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 15: Udaipur - Delhi(By Road-700kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon, drive to the airport to board flight for Delhi.
